(CQNEWS) The 13th Chongqing Three Gorges International Tourism Festival will be launched in Wushan County of Chongqing from June 21 to June 25, the press conference by Chongqing Municipal Government released yesterday. During the festival, tourists will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River together with many activities including rafting and photo contest.
Jointly organized by the National Tourism Administration and Chongqing Municipal Government, the Three Gorges Tourism Festival has been held successfully for 12 times since 1993. The main venue of the festival moved from the city proper of Chongqing to the Three Gorges reservoir area in 2006. The theme of this festival is to build a new stable harmonious reservoir area.
