(CQNEWS) The Three Gorges Museum was granted as national first-grade museum and AAAA grade tourism area yesterday morning. The museum, leading in West China, became the first batch of first-grade museums in early May this year. Its maintaining and managing work for the over 200,000 pieces of collections has been highly praised by the experts. More collections, especially some with local features, will be added to the museum after this "upgrade". A plan to look for historical relics from the citizens is on schedule. The scheduled relics are supposed to relate to the development of Chongqing, such as the Anti-Japanese War, the Three Gorges Project, and the changes of Chongqing Municipality.
