The "2008 Taiwan youth summer camp", held by Chongqing Municipal Sodality of Taiwan Compatriots, formally started at the Southwest University on July 6. 11 teachers and students from universities of Taiwan joined in the summer camp.

On the starting ceremony, the theme activity "Hand in hand, we are of the same family" connected university students from Chongqing and Taiwan together.
