(CQNEWS) Wulong Wind Farm of Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. signed the contract with Chongqing Haizhuang Windpower Equipment Co., Ltd. of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation on July 18 to buy its 49.3 MW wind turbines.

The wind power is an efficient and clean energy which is widely used in the world. Wulong Wind Farm is located in Heshun Village of Wulong County, covering an area of 6.6 square kilometers. It is the first wind power project of Chongqing and southwest China, with a total investment of 560 million yuan RMB by Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. The first batch of generator units will be in operation by the end of this year. 

The project will be wholly completed by August next year and the annual generated electricity will reach 89.38 million kwh on average.

The generator unit is composed of fifty eight 850-kw wind power generators. The generator is designed based on German technology and has the own intellectual property. (Translated by Huang Xiaolu)
