Environmental protection survey of industrial parks to launch in Chongqing

To master the environmental protection condition of all industrial parks and industrial zones in Chongqing and establish an information system, an overall survey of environmental protection in those areas will be carried out and the specific plan for each park will also be proposed, according to the notice issued by the General Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government yesterday.
The survey will cover 48 industrial parks approved by the municipal or above departments and 34 urban industrial parks approved by the municipal government.
It will investigate into the consistency between the enterprises and the industrial position, the construction of environmental protection infrastructure and the disposal of "three wastes".
