Investment of large industries up 44.3% from Jan. to Aug. in Chongqing

From January to August this year, the investment capital of industries above designated size reaches 71.02 billion yuan, increasing by 44.3%,13.9 percentage points higher than the average level of Chongqing. It accounts for 33.9% of the fixed assets investment in Chongqing, according to Chongqing Economic Commission yesterday.
In the eight months, the value added of large industries runs to 115.6 billion yuan, increasing by 24.4%, and the sales value of industry is 346.56 billion yuan, rising by 33.9%.
In the five characters represented in Chongqing industrial economy this year, the non-public economy develops strongly. Such economy in enterprises above scale increases by 49.3% in these months, which pushes this kind of enterprises to rise by 14.3 percentage points.
