l Booming key companies

Chongqing Chemical & Pharmaceutical Holding Group Company has accomplished output value of RMB 4.92 billion, a y-o-y increase of 51.7%; Chongqing Iron &Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. has adjusted the product structure according to the demands of the market and overcome various difficulties caused by the Wenchuan Earthquake. Its aggregate output value increased by 45.8% over 2007 and profit during January to May amounted to RMB 530 million, a y-o-y increase of 119.8%.
