Chongqing International Circus City stands at No. 4 Nanbin East Road in Nan’an District, close to the Dafosi Yangtze River Bridge. Its first phase covers a total floor area of 24,800 square meters and represents an investment of RMB 399 million.

Designed as a major venue for acrobatics and magic, the complex can also host contemporary performance shows, musicals, stage productions and concerts. Modern stage machinery and advanced audiovisual technology allow it to accommodate productions of varying scales and formats, adding a distinctive new venue to Chongqing’s performing-arts scene.

The venue is the largest and best-equipped circus theatre in western China. Its performance spaces were built to Russian circus technical standards and feature sophisticated stage machinery and production systems. Ergonomically designed seating and three central air-conditioning systems ensure a comfortable viewing experience throughout the year.
