Chongqing Liangping Shuanggui Lake National Wetland Park lies in Liangping’s new urban area. It covers 349.97 hectares, including 190.76 hectares of wetlands.

Rivers, lakes and rice paddies form an interconnected wetland ecosystem that conserves water, moderates the local climate, stores stormwater and supports biodiversity. Eight signature landscapes—including Snow over Duliang, Northern View beneath Hanging Clouds, Misty Rain at Zhangqiao and Liangshan Meadow—bring wetland habitats and recreational spaces together in a setting shaped equally by water and greenery.

The park has received more than ten national and municipal distinctions, including recognition as a National Green Camp for Youth Nature Education, a National Forestry and Grassland Science Education Base and a Chongqing Science Education Base. Today, it serves as one of Liangping’s principal urban ecological spaces—a place to meet, unwind and reconnect with nature.
