E-COOL was transformed from an export processing zone. Unlike many renovated industrial sites, its relatively new buildings give the redeveloped site a more contemporary character with less of a sense of age. Today, it is gradually evolving into a cultural and creative park where artists, cultural and creative businesses, local residents, and the city itself interact and thrive together.
