Scope of Notarization
Based on applications from natural persons, legal persons, or other organizations, notarial agencies shall perform notarial acts for the following notarial matters:
(1) Contracts;
(2) Inheritance;
(3) Authorization, declarations, bestowal, wills;
(4) Distribution of property;
(5) Tendering and auctioning;
(6) Marital status, kinship, and adoption relationships;
(7) Birth, existence, death, identity, experience, education, degrees, positions, titles, and criminal records;
(8) Articles of associations;
(9) Preservation of evidence;
(10) The signature, seal, and date on documents, and copies or photocopies of the documents are consistent with the original;
(11) Other notarial matters voluntarily applied for by natural persons, legal persons, or other organizations.
For matters that shall be notarized as required by laws and administrative regulations, the relevant natural persons, legal persons, or other organizations shall apply to a notary agency for notarization.
