Bus and Subway
At present, urban public transportation services are available in all cities in China, and 55 cities have opened subways. If you choose to apply for a physical card, you can go to designated outlets such as bus stations, subway stations, and banks with a valid ID card. Some cities require a deposit when applying and have a minimum requirement for the first top-up. Please consult the relevant management agency in advance.
If you choose an online payment method such as a ride QR code, you can enter the "Transit QR Code" mini program on WeChat or the "Transport" section on Alipay. After selecting your city, follow the instructions to apply for the card/code.
