Foreigners who apply for an extension of their visa stay period shall submit an application to the exit-entry administration authorities of the public security organ within seven days before the expiration date of the stay duration indicated in the visa, and submit relevant application documents as required. The cumulative extension period shall not exceed the original stay duration indicated in the visa.
