What materials are required to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarships?
Generally, the following materials are required:
(1) Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or English);
(2) Notarized certificate of highest academic qualification;
(3) Academic transcripts of the institution you attended before coming to China;
(4) Plans for study or research in China;
(5) Letter of recommendation;
(6) Students applying for music majors must submit a CD of their works, while students applying for fine arts majors must provide a CD of 2 sketches, 2 color paintings, and 2 other pieces;
(7) Applicants under the age of 18 must submit relevant legal documents of their legal guardians in China;
(8) Applicants who come to China to study for more than 6 months shall submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form;
(9) Pre-admission letter issued by the designated host university;
(10) If you have obtained an HSK score report, please also attach a photocopy of it with the application materials. All application materials must be compiled in the specified sequence above and bound at the top-left corner into two identical sets. Original documents will not be returned.
