The Qingshui Greenway along the Jiulong Peninsula section of the Yangtze River’s north bank was nominated for the title of “Chongqing’s Most Beautiful Mountain City Greenway” in the 2024 Discover the Beauty of Chongqing program. Now a popular destination for leisure and recreation, the greenway stretches approximately 4.9 kilometers from Yuqiuhao Wharf to Jiulong Temple. As an important part of the connectivity project along the north bank of the Yangtze River under Chongqing’s Two Rivers and Four Riverbanks renewal initiative, it is more than an ecological greenway—it is also a corridor of local culture.
